Primary 5, 6 & 7

Wow what a year we have had in Primary classes 5, 6 and 7, PLT 2. We have formed many new friendships, grown in our abilities across communication and behaviour and have enjoyed learning so many new things together.

Our days are very busy with Maths, English, HASS and HPE lessons, as well as Specialist lessons, Science, Preforming and Visual Arts. Within our curriculum we experienced many fun things together including our excursion to McDonalds, watching Madagascar JNR at The Pilbeam Theatre, organised by Miss Helen, our fast-food culminating event, Sports day, Healthy Harold visits, PBL Celebrations with our loved ones, Book Week parade, Rock and Water Program with Chappy Jayden and Miss Krystle’s Science Week.

We have also enjoyed joining regularly as a cohort to participate in special events which are celebrated within our community. These events have encouraged us to be more active and positive and to be aware of the reasons why our community celebrates such events. These events included: Ride to school day, National Sorry Day, Do it for Dolly Day, Jeans for Genes Day, Clean up Australia day, R U OK? Day, Loud shirt Day and Day for Daniel.

But our year is not over yet! Still to come we have many exciting end of year events. These include the Graduation of our current Year 6 students, voting for our 2024 Year 6 school captains, our final culminating event for the year, PBL celebrations and the end of year awards and festivities.
