PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Term 3 has continued strongly with our Gymnastics program running across the school. Students are nearing their major assessment and a keenly practicing to ensure they give their best when the challenge arrives.
School swimming program for P-4 is well underway. This year our program is being conducted over 5 weeks at Aquatic Achievers at Knox. Feeback from students indicates they are having a great time and building their skills. A reminder for parents/carers who have their child attend other swim facilities for their weekly swimming. Each swim school can approach their instruction in different ways, curriculum and the developmental guidelines will be the similar if not the same between schools.
Students have already started moving groups in order to meet specific skill needs as indentified by the qualified swim teacher. The staff at Aquatic Achievers are aiming to ensure they address key skill deficencies to enable students to be the most effcicent and safe swimmers they can.
