Parent Engagement Groups

Our Parent Engagement Groups (PEGs) aim to provide our Parents/Carers and extended adult community the opportunity to build connections through targeted programs. The programs aim to improve personal health and well-being while building stronger and more effective bonds with their children.

PEGs will achieve this in 3 ways:

  • Social Sustainability
    • Improve the Social, Health and Wellbeing of Parents/Carers and Community members.
  • Impactful Engagement
    • Meaningful connection between Student Learning and school experience, with Parents/Carers and the Community.
  • Connected Community
    • Support growth in knowledge, understanding and purposeful action for Parents/Carers and Community members to meet the diverse needs of children.

Below are the current opportunities running to support you. If you would like further information please contact Daniel Thomas at the school:

IMPACTFUL EVENTS CONNECTING FAMILIES

MESSED UP SCIENCE EXPLODES:

To complete our Science Day, families had the chance to sign up for our Messed Up Science Night.

The Night was hosted by the team from Fizz Kids who provided a wonderful experience for all in attendance. There were 3 Sessions held across the night where students and their parents/carers or significant adult were involved in some fun and messy science.

Smiles, laughter and strong adult-child bonds were the features of the night.

Thank you to everyone who attended!

CONNECTING THE COMMUNITY

We have several opportunities for parents/carers and our community to engage with learning targeted to support families with the health and well-being needs of their children.

These will be safe and supportive environments where adults can engage with programs, strategies and support groups to empower them to strengthen positive family well-being. Stay tuned for opportunities at the end of term 3 and throughout term 4.
