From our Parents' Committee
Fundraising Update
In term 2 & 3 the Parents' Committee ran several events – Mother’s Day Breakfast and Stall. Africa / Dom Tom Day, Fete de la Musique and Bastille Day. From these events we have raised approximately $8500 which will be dedicated to playground upgrades. Our regular Friday treats stall and 2nd hand Uniform stall have raised a further approx. $9000. Thank you to all our coordinators and volunteers who make these events possible so that we can support our school and it's students.
Gardening Team: Thank you to our gardening team for their efforts to tidy up our gardens this week and make them ready for Spring. This group meets informally to help with gardening at the school to assist with weeding, planting, and mulching. Everyone is welcome to join-in. Send us an email if you would like to participate.
Father’s Day Breakfast Coordinator: We need an additional coordinator to assist with the Father’s Day Breakfast. The role includes menu planning, catering and logistics. You need to be available on the 29th August for preparation and the morning of 30th August. You will be assisted by an experienced coordinator and a group of volunteers.
Father’s & Carer’s Day Breakfast and Stall: Our events for Father’s/Carer’s Day will be held on Friday, 30 August. Tickets will be on sale next week.
