Bike Parking

You may have noticed we have had an upgrade to our bike parking area behind the ELC which was organised by the Stonnington Council. It looks great and it has been fantastic to see so many people riding their bikes, scooters and skateboards to school! Remember to respect the new space and to keep the bikes in the bike area and the scooter and skateboards in the hanging area. Thanks to Rosemary from Stonnington, now we can ride to school in any weather! To celebrate on Friday 16th we will have free bike maintenance, bring your bikes to school and leave them in the parking area in the morning to receive this free maintenance service. 

House Olympics

On Friday the 2nd of August we had our WPS House Olympics Competition, it was a great day for the students to have some fun and win house points for their house. We had 4 different rotations including tug of war, ping pong ball bounce, cornhole toss and vortex throw. After collecting and tallying up the points Wattle came in 4th place, Bluegum got the bronze medal in 3rd place, Peppercorn took out the silver medal in 2nd place leaving Waratah with the gold medal in 1st place! At assembly we announced a most valuable player award for each house and gave out awards for the students who were chosen for the House Mascot Drawing Competition. Well done to everyone who dressed up on the day and had a go and a special congratulations to all our award winners.
