3A

In our recent writing sessions, 3A students have delved into the fascinating world of metaphors and similes, discovering how using these can transform their writing.

By using deliberate word choice, 3A have been learning to add layers of meaning and create vivid imagery that engages readers on a deeper level.

To find inspiration, we read ‘The Black Book of Colours’ by Menena Cottin, a book written in English and braille that creates imagery using metaphors.

As 3A continue to practice and refine their use of metaphors and similes, it’s exciting to see their writing come alive with creativity and insight.

3A created unique Olympic medals by crafting them from clay and painting them bronze, silver or gold.

Using symbolism to represent their personal message and meaning, they successfully showcased their winning attitudes and personalities!
