Year 9/10 Archery Zone

By Peter Cliffe (Principal)

Selected students from Year 9 and 10 enjoyed a session of archery zone at school this week. Archery zone is a fun, team building activity combining elements of Paintball, Dodgeball and Laser Tag. The students navigated a course set up with bunkers that created an inflatable battlefield for the ultimate archery experience.

Year 8 students lead Olympic fun for Years 3/4

By Caleb Lobbe (Year 8 Co-ordinator)

On Thursday August 1st, the entire Year 8 cohort ran Olympic themed sports activities for Year 3 and 4 students. Timed to be right in the middle of the Olympics, there was lots of excitement and energy from both age groups.

The Year 8's spent several weeks preparing for this, by choosing their olympic activities and creating structured lesson plans to help their sessions run smoothly on the day.

Running the activities was a great way for the cohort to embrace some of our yearly themes of encouragement and community building. It was an awesome afternoon and wonderful to see younger students interacting with older students whom they look up to. There were lots of smiles, and particular excitement when the Year 3 and 4 students received Mario Kart medals for winning their activities!

Thank you to the Year 3 and 4 students for participating and congratulations to the Year 8's on a brilliant job running the olympic activities!
