AUGUST CANNED FOOD DRIVE: LET'S MAKE A DIFFERENT TOGETHER!
We are excited to announce our August Canned Food Drive, running from the 5th to the 26th of August. This initiative is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and support families in need within our local area.
Why We're Doing It
Many families in our community are facing tough times, and every little bit of support can make a significant difference. By contributing to our canned food drive, you are helping to ensure that no one goes hungry and that our community stays strong and supportive.
How You Can Help
Participation is easy! We will have designated boxes in each classroom where students can drop off their canned food donations. We encourage everyone to bring in non-perishable items such as:
- Canned vegetables and fruits
- Canned soups and stews
- Canned meats and fish
- Canned beans and legumes
- Pasta and rice
- Any other non-perishable food items
Every donation, big or small, will help us reach our goal of supporting as many families as possible. Let’s work together to fill those boxes and show the strength and compassion of our BHCS community. The last day for donations is Monday, 26th August.
THANK YOU TO YEAR 9 FAMILIES
We want to thank all the Year 9 students and their families for contributing to the Foothills Socks and Jocks drive in 2024. These donations will go to our community's homeless and less fortunate, providing much-needed warmth and comfort. Thank you so much for being willing to partner with us to make the world a better place. Donations will be delivered to Foothills on Monday August 19.
