Discovery Centre

Highlight

This week has been Science Week and students have been able to participate in some science experiments looking out germs and soap and the importance of handwashing.

We have been exploring shapes in maths and have used our shape knowledge to create some unique shape robots. Students have also been able to start noticing shapes in the world around them, including some of the flags from the Olympic teams during our Olympics Inquiry. We then created our own flags using different 2D shapes.

On Indonesia day students participated in rotations of Indonesian activities to explore and celebrate Indonesian language and culture, including shadow puppets, games and Indonesian colouring.

Looking forward to book week next week and seeing all your favourite book characters!

Have a wonderful afternoon,

Tegan, Emma and Ashley
