What's happening in the Art Room?
Today the preps learnt about the season of Spring and the parts of the flowers of a nectarine tree. They discussed petals, stamen, branches and leaves. We also discussed bees and how they travel from flower to flower pollinating plants.
Year 3/4 Student completed their ceramic weedy sea dragons by painting them with metallic colours. They were amazed at the male weedy dragon and how he looks after the eggs.
Term 4, St Joseph’s school will be having a Visual Arts Exhibition. If there are any parents who would like to help with the organisation and set up, I would love to have you on board. Just send me an email on: jbyrne@sjsorrento.catholic.edu.au
