Student Report
Hi Tarneit Senior College,
September has been a busy and exciting month for our school, with a range of events and initiatives that showcased the incredible dedication and spirit of our students. As we approach the end of Term 3, here’s a recap of what’s been happening around the school.
RUOK Week was a huge success, with students and staff coming together to raise awareness about mental health. The conversations and activities throughout the week served as a powerful reminder that checking in on each other is essential. A big thank you to everyone who got involved and made it such a supportive event.
Another major highlight this month was Community Week, our first-ever entirely student-run event! From organising activities with the wellbeing team to having expert talks from people in our local community, our students showed outstanding leadership and initiative in the running of this great project. It was incredible to see the whole school come together to make a positive impact on the wider community, and we couldn’t be more proud of what was achieved.
The Interact Club also had the opportunity to participate in their Multi-District Conference earlier this term. Students collaborated with peers from other schools to discuss global issues and community service initiatives, and we’re excited to see how they will bring these ideas back to our own school and local community.
Looking ahead, Year 12 indicative exams are just around the corner. As always, the student leadership team is here to offer support and advice to those who need it. Remember to manage your time wisely and take care of yourselves as you prepare for this important milestone.
We’re so grateful for all the progress we’ve made this year and can't wait to see all that’s to come.
Take care and have a great day,
Your College Captains
