On Wednesday, our STEM Captains and helpers attended the Climate Action for Kids Conference at Edendale Farm.
It was a great day of learning and we were inspired by the climate positive actions of other schools in our region. We have many takeaways from this day, including the thermal efficiency of mud brick, the green energy potential of nuclear power and a deeper understanding of the various greenhouse gases that exist in our atmosphere.
At the end of the day all schools made a pledge towards climate action. We pledged to continue to care for our school’s environment and take inspiration from the Wurundjeri people who cared for this land for thousands of years before us.
