Leadership @ MPS
What a big week!
What a week it has been for everyone at MPS! Our Junior School staff and students have just completed a week of swimming lessons, and we had a very successful Adjusted School Day on Thursday to facilitate Parent Student Teacher Conferences. We have noticed some very heavy eyelids across the school this morning, hopefully you all have quiet weekends planned.
As always, we feel so lucky have the support of our parent/carer community and want to thank you all. We had so many helpers at Eltham Leisure Centre throughout the week as well as a fantastic attendance rate at yesterday's conferences.
Movie Night
A reminder that the annual MPS movie night is just around the corner, it is taking place on Friday, 13th of September. All students had a say in this year's movie choice, facilitated by our Semester 2 SRC members, 'Ratatouille' will be shown on the big screen. The school gates will be open from 5:15pm for a 6pm start time. Tickets can be purchased here, make sure to get in before they are all snapped up!
We are asking for volunteers from our community to help with a range of jobs for the event. For more information on how you can help and to sign up, please follow the link here.
Building Update
We are very excited that our new front entrance is just about finished. It has been fantastic to see it taking shape, with the new fencing being installed early next week. We love the modern feel and new focal point it will provide for the school.
Can you believe there are only 2 weeks to go until Term 3 is over?!
Regards,
Janene and Paul
