Focus on Learning

Stage 1 

We have been really busy in Stage One. In Literacy we had our first Big Write, we produced very pleasing narratives on the topic 'The Magic Hat'. We created a calm space to write and share ideas. We are looking forward to writing Information Reports next week and building diaromas of an animal's habitat.

In Mathematics we have been focusing on position. We have had a lot of fun using the BeeBots to give and program directions.

This week we have been focusing on the place value of numbers. We worked in groups to count in an efficent way.
