A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

New School Counsellor

I am thrilled to welcome Cass McIlrick, our new counsellor from Centacare. She will be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each fortnight. If parents want their children to see Cass please talk to your child’s teacher and the appropriate forms will be sent home for parental permission.

A message from Cass:

"Hello my new Quirindi Family!

I am so excited to be joining you all and getting to know you.

 A little bit about me:

My name is Cass. I am a Mum of three amazing boys who are my biggest achievement  in life and my biggest challenge.

I love being active. Walking and netball are my favourite but I love most sports.

I am very good at handball and get quite competitive but in a healthy competitive way.

I am adventurous and love to travel and explore new and different things (My first career  was a travel agent).

I have dedicated the past 10 years to working in the community services sector, gaining experience across various areas, including homelessness, out-of-home care, and, most recently, as a youth drug and alcohol counsellor. It is a privilege to work with the young people of Saint Joseph’s Quirindi, and I am deeply committed to supporting their growth, well-being and development. By fostering a safe and nurturing environment, I aim to empower them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential."

School Cross Country

Tomorrow Wednesday 19th March we will hold our School Cross Country event. Thanks to the parents who are providing the BBQ lunch and to those who offered to help as an official. Students will be bussed to the Showground at 10.45am.

Have a wonderful week
