3/4 Super Digital Citizens

The Grade 3 & 4 students enjoyed creating a digital portrait of themselves using the new iPad crayons. They are turning themselves into a Super Digital Citizen for a Comic Style Poster.

STEM

The Year 5/6s have been learning about Earth’s place in space. They have learnt what a mnemonic is, and created their own mnemonics to help remember the planets in order from the Sun. What a fun way to incorporate science, art and language!

Performing Arts

In music class, students have been diving into the origins of musical instruments, learning how Aboriginal Australians created some of the first-ever instruments with natural resources. Inspired by this rich history, they have been composing their own original songs using the sounds of nature!

Students began by recording natural sounds using iPads—rustling leaves, chirping birds, flowing water—and documenting their findings in their books. Next, they will take their creativity a step further, using musical instruments to transform these sounds into unique compositions. We can’t wait to hear their final pieces! 🎶✨

1/2 Digital Classroom Norms

Students in Grade 1/2 have been learning about CJC’s Digital Classroom norms and understanding ways to be a responsible and respectful device user. They created their own Digital Norms poster and then created and decorated these norms on the app, Clips.
