Cultural Diversity Day- Wednesday 26 March

We are excited to celebrate Cultural Diversity Day on Wednesday, 26 March. Students, parents, and carers are encouraged to wear traditional clothing representing their heritage and take part in a day filled with cultural performances, learning activities, and interactive experiences. Parents are welcome to contribute by sharing their cultural knowledge with classes. Please refer to the full event details in today’s newsletter, including how to get involved and the day's schedule.

A Reminder About School Procedures

To ensure a smooth and safe school day for all students, we kindly ask parents to follow these important procedures:

School Access During the Day: Once classes have started, parents should not walk through the school grounds unless signing in at the office. This helps maintain a secure and focused learning environment.

Early Pick-Ups: If you need to collect your child early, please email their teacher in the morning and report to the office when you arrive. This allows us to minimise disruptions to learning.

We appreciate your support in keeping our school a safe and well-organised place for all students.

Punctuality Matters – Arriving on Time & End-of-Day Pickups

We are noticing an increasing number of students arriving late to school. The school day starts promptly at 9:00 am, and arriving late disrupts learning for both the child and their classmates. Supervision is available from 8:45 am, so we encourage all families to ensure students arrive on time, ready for the day.

At the end of the school day, students are supervised until 3:45 pm. If children have not been collected by this time, they will be taken to the office so parents can be contacted. We understand that delays can occasionally happen, but a growing number of children are being collected after 3:45 pm, which impacts both students and staff.

To support families, any child who has not been collected by 4:00 pm will be sent to TheirCare, our after-school care program. If you know you are going to be late, please contact the office as soon as possible so we can support your child and plan accordingly.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep our school day running smoothly.
