Mental Health & Wellbeing

This week I have had the most wonderful time getting to know the amazing students below. Hearing them speak confidently and proudly about being neurodiverse has been truly inspiring. It has been a magical experience to witness their self-expression, strength, and unique perspectives.
On Tuesday afternoon I was lucky enough to get to spend some time in 1/2PH where we completed an activity that is designed to point out that we should not judge other people and their needs. After the task we had a fabulous discussion about the difference between needs and wants.
End of day questions
Do you ever ask your child what happened at school today and you get the shoulder shrug? Here are some questions you may like to try.
Gardening Club
Gardening Club is one of our Lunch Time clubs. It is run on Tuesdays during recess. The club is run by Mrs Byron. It was wonderful to see many students enjoying and helping out in the garden beds. It is always very exciting when the fruit, vegetables and flowers begin to grow.
