Strengthening Our Digital Security

A Safer Future for Your Information

In today’s digital landscape, cybersecurity threats are constantly evolving. To safeguard your information and enhance our online security, we are strengthening our email, online presence and document security. These updates will help protect against data breaches, phishing attacks and unauthorised access to sensitive information. Our commitment is to create a secure and reliable digital environment where communication remains safe, confidential data is protected and only authorised users can access our systems. These enhancements follow industry best practices in cybersecurity and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. While some adjustments may take time to adapt to, they are crucial for maintaining the security of our organisation’s data. Our new security measures prioritise confidentiality, integrity and availability, ensuring that your information remains safe, accurate and accessible when needed. To further reinforce our cybersecurity posture, we are also conducting a comprehensive review and refinement of our security policies. These proactive steps will help us stay ahead of emerging threats while maintaining compliance with data protection laws. We appreciate your support and cooperation as we work towards a more secure digital future.

In 2025, all Year 7 and Year 10 students will be issued a College-provided digital device. Along with this, a new ongoing IT Levy will be introduced for these students.

The $100 annual levy will cover the cost of:

  • a new and improved protective cover
  • one $200 maintenance repair over the three-year period
  • ongoing internal health checks for the device

Please note, any additional repairs beyond the one included $200 maintenance repair will be the responsibility of the student or their family. Please be aware that all future issuing of new devices will incur this levy.
