New Imaginary Play Tubs

The new Imaginary Play Tubs are now being enjoyed by students in Years Prep to 3.  It’s been so wonderful hearing the joy it is bringing the children during play time.

Fundraising Apron Design Competition

Thank you so much to all the students who have entered our Apron Design Competition. We have been blown away with the amazing designs! The winning design will be announced next term and the unveiling of our fundraising apron that will be available for purchase.

Hot Cross Bun Day

Thank you so much for everyone's orders for our Hot Cross Bun Day. We were able to raise $390.20 which will be split between Project Compassion and the School Musical Fundraising.  Thank you to the Year 4 Parent Reps and families for organising this delicious morning tea for our children. 

 

Mandarin Day

Maytime Fair

Xavier College's annual Maytime Fair is Saturday May 3rd. Sacred Heart will again support it by running the coffee stand. Thank you to the Year 1 Parents Reps and families for organising this event. The volunteer sign up sheet will be shared next week. Please sign up if you can give some time at the event helping Xavier and promoting our school.

Sacred Heart Meals Service

What is the meals service?

The Sacred Heart Meals Service is available to all Sacred Heart families that require some practical help in the form of meals at a time of need. This may be due to a very happy occasion such as a new birth in the family, or in more difficult circumstances such as a death or illness in a family. 

 

How does it work?

The Meals Service Coordinators can be contacted by a teacher, class rep, member of the Parents Association, a friend within the school or the family members themselves. The coordinators would then contact the family to chat about what would be helpful (e.g. how often, favourite meals, dietary requirements etc) and then coordinate the service, requesting assistance from the relevant year level.

 

It’s important to note that we are very careful in being discreet at all times and maintaining confidentiality, ensuring the family are happy with what information (if any) is passed on to those we are asking to assist.
