Diocesan Basketball and Tennis Trials

Friday 5th December - Tamworth

Schools are invited to send students who are in YEAR 5 and are highly proficient in YEAR 4 to attend the Armidale Diocesan Basketball and Tennis trials, in Tamworth on Friday 5th December 2025. 

Remember, this is a trial for the 2026 Armidale Tennis/Basketball team, who will attend the Polding trials in Term 1, 2026. Polding Trial Date, February 6th 2026.

Event Date: 

Friday 5th December 2025. Trials commence at 9:30 am but we ask all children to arrive at 9:00 am. Trials are expected to finish at approximately 2:00 pm. 

Event Venue: 

Basketball (Boys & Girls): Tamworth Sports Dome, Jack Smyth Drive, Tamworth. 

Tennis (Girls & Boys): Belmore Park Tennis Courts, 16 Gidley Street, Tamworth. 

Nominations are due by email to Mr Flower by Monday, 17th November 2025 at 3:00pm.

Tenterfield High School Horse Sports Day

Seven children from our school attended the THS Horse Sports last Friday the 31st October.

Nikki Morrow, Hank Morrow, Sheena Morrow, Elle Tarrant, Faith Mackejev, Isabella Parker and Kelly Bulmer all competed in a variety of events and showed outstanding sportsmanship. Many ribbons were collected along the way.

Sheena and Kelly were awarded runner-up places in their respective age groups.

It was a fantastic day and the children had lots of fun.
