                                                          In Our Chinese Class

Foundation: 

We’re exploring the names and movements of different sea creatures, along with learning the months of the year in Mandarin. Songs and games have made the experience enjoyable and engaging for everyone.

Year 1 and 2:

We have spent time learning about farm animals, pets, and favourite colours in Mandarin. Students have enjoyed engaging in games and creating origami that allows them to demonstrate their understanding.  

Year 3 to 6

Students have the opportunity to explore Chinese on the iPad, where they not only engage with language games and activities but also work on a project using Mandarin. In addition, Year 5 and Year 6 students are learning about Asian Pop music as part of their cultural studies.

                                 It’s been a highly productive month with great progress.
