On Tuesday, our school marked Remembrance Day with respect and reflection. Our student leaders represented the school with pride at the Chatswood RSL service, honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who have served. Back at school, the entire student body gathered in the park for a special assembly and to observe a moment of silence together. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to pause and reflect on the importance of remembering those who gave so much.

A reminder that school supervision does not begin until 8.30am. For the safety and wellbeing of all students, no child should be onsite before this time unless attending a supervised program.
On a positive note, we continue to be impressed by our students’ attendance overall. Being at school each day and on time makes a big difference to learning, friendships and overall engagement. Thank you for the part you play in making regular attendance a priority.
This year, we’re pleased to be hosting our K-2 and Stage 3–6 Presentation Day assemblies onsite. As part of this updated format, onlyaward recipients and their parents or carers have been invited to attend the event in person.
To ensure all 3-6 students are still able to celebrate the achievements of their peers, the assembly will be live-streamed into classrooms across the school. All K-2 students will attend their assembly in person.
Invitations have been sent to award recipients parents and carers via School Bytes this week. We look forward to celebrating this special day with our community and acknowledging the growth, effort and achievements of our students in a meaningful way.
In preparation for 2026 and to assist with class planning, if you know your child will not
be returning to Chatswood Public School next year, please complete the CPS Leaving Letter and return to the school office chatswood-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au
Kindly note there is no need for Year 6 students to complete the leavers form unless they are leaving before the end of Term 4.

School Tours provide families with an opportunity to see the school in action and hear about the wide range of opportunities available to our students.
