The Messiah’s Donkey - Thank You

What a fantastic morning last Wednesday when we welcomed Australian Comedian and Author Anthony Salame. Anthony shared his second book ‘The Messiah’s Donkey with the K - Year 3 students, about donkey ‘Zeke’ who can’t seem to get anything going his way. By putting his faith in his Heavenly Father, Zeke finds out that God is always listening to our prayers.

Thanks to all the parents who stayed, I’m sure you enjoyed the morning as much as the students did. For anyone who was unable to make it and would like to purchase one of Anthony’s books, the link is below:

They make a great gift, especially with Easter just around the corner.

Mother’s Day Bracelet making

Thanks to all the amazing Mum’s who popped in for a chat and came to also make bracelets for our Mother’s Day Stall this year. As always, the proceeds from our bracelet sales will go towards buying food and equipment that we use at our Sydney Vinnies Brekky Van service throughout 2025. Look forward to your support of this important social outreach initiative.

Easter Season 2025

Easter is my favourite time in our liturgical calendar. This year is  particularly special as it marks 25 years since I went on pilgrimage to the Holy Land and had the opportunity to walk through the Holy Doors at St Peter’s Basilica in Rome. I do hope you have the opportunity to participate in the Holy Week celebrations offered at both St Margaret Mary’s and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart as a family. This important time truly is the foundation of our Catholic faith, a time for renewal as we commemorate Christ’s death on the cross and also a time to rejoice in his glorious resurrection. Wishing you all a restful Term 1 break.

Go gently, every blessing
