Principal's Message to the School Community

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Can you believe that Term 1 has already come to a close? It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming our students back to school after the holidays, and now here we are, wrapping up an exciting and busy term!

This term has been filled with incredible learning and growth. Our young learners have worked hard across all subjects, from exploring new concepts in literacy and numeracy to diving into creative arts and hands-on experiences. We've also seen lots of smiles during outdoor playtime and have celebrated the importance of teamwork through various class activities.

We are so proud of how much the children have achieved in these first few months of school, and we can't wait to see them continue to grow and learn as we move into Term 2.

Term 1 highlights have included:

  • First day of the school year, especially for our Foundation students
  • Interschool sporting events
  • Water Safety and swimming program
  • Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Jams in School Program
  • Working Bee
  • NAPLAN
  • School photos
  • Cross Country Trial and Fun Run

A huge thank you to all our wonderful families for your support during Term 1. Your involvement makes such a difference in helping our school community thrive!

Wishing everyone a relaxing and enjoyable break. We look forward to seeing you in Term 2, ready for more fun and learning adventures.

Annual Report

The Annual Report allows us to share the school’s achievements and progress with our community. It’s also a requirement for all Victorian government schools to prepare this report by April 30 each year. The report includes essential details about student outcomes, attendance, and the school’s finances.

The Annual Report is made up of two parts:

Performance Summary

This section shows how the school performed over the past year and highlights any trends. This section is created by the education department.

About Our School

This part is written by the principal and shares the school’s achievements from the previous year.

The Annual Report must be endorsed at a meeting of the school council and attested to by the principal.

Please find a link to our 2024 Annual Report below. It can also be found on our website under the Forms and Publications tab.  Hard copies can be made available upon request to the school.

I hope you enjoy reading about our school's progress over the past school year.
