Nano Nagle Value: LOVE
This term the WHOLE school will be focussing on the Nano Nagle value of LOVE.
Our students follow our school rules of Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible.
Students are reminded to follow the schools rules while showing LOVE, Love for their friends and teachers, Love for their environment, Love for learning, Love in God etc.
You will notice that one of our class awards handed out at assembly will be for a student showing the value of LOVE in that week. Teachers are also handing out tokens to students showing the value of LOVE in their interactions on the playground.
Easter Season
As Catholics, the Easter season calls for reflection on the profound mystery of Jesus' resurrection, a time to celebrate new life and hope, and to consider how we can live out the promise of eternal life through faith and service.
Here are some key reflections for the Easter season:
1. The Joy of the Resurrection:
Celebrating New Life: Easter is a time to rejoice in the victory over death and sin, symbolised by the empty tomb.
Hope and Transformation: The resurrection offers hope for a future filled with eternal life and the possibility of transformation in our own lives.
Rejoicing in the Risen Lord: We are called to live a life of joy and peace, constantly experiencing the real presence of the Risen Lord in all aspects of our lives.
2. Living Out the Easter Message:
Following Jesus' Example: We are called to live out the message of love, compassion, and service, mirroring the life of Christ, who died for our sins and rose for our salvation.
Bearing Witness to the Faith: As followers of Christ, we are called to share the good news of the resurrection with others, offering hope and encouragement in a world that sometimes lacks it.
3. Prayers and Reflections:
Praying for Grace: Ask for the grace to live a life worthy of the resurrection, to be filled with hope, and to be a beacon of light in a world that needs it.
Meditation on the Gospel: Reflect on the Gospel readings of the Easter season, allowing the words to sink into your heart and inspire you to live a life of faith.
Seeking the Divine Mercy: Trust in God's abundant mercy and seek to live a life of forgiveness and compassion, reflecting the mercy of Christ.

Project Compassion
Thank you to everyone who donated the 2025 Project Compassion Appeal. The mufti days and collection boxes in the classrooms raised $1023 and the Easter Raffle raised $2760.
When you consider that $2,000 can provide a 5,000 Litre water tank in Samoa, $500 can provide Hygiene training for a whole Samoan community, $153 could provide funding for a household in DRC to start selling food products as a source of income or even as little as $25 could provide disability screening and early intervention for 5 children in Vietnam, your generosity has created a lot of good in the world and lives will have been saved or improved exponentially.
Thank you

Our faith is a journey that calls us to move both physically and spiritually. Just as athletes train their bodies, we are invited to strengthen our souls through perseverance, trust, and prayer. This pilgrimage along the stunning coastal path will remind us that faith requires endurance, courage, and a heart open to the Holy Spirit. Inspired by the life of Eileen O’Connor, we will reflect on how small steps of faith can lead to great strength in God.

Life’s journey is filled with joys and sorrows, triumphs and trials. Yet, even in suffering, Christ walks with us, offering healing and hope. This pilgrimage to St Mary’s Cathedral is a moment to pause, bring our burdens before the Lord in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and rediscover the peace found in His presence. The day will include a guided tour of the Cathedral by Fr Roberto Keryakos and a crypt tour led by Dr. Robert Haddad, offering a profound encounter with the rich history and faith of the Cathedral church of the Archdiocese of Sydney. Additionally, Fr William Chow will deliver an inspiring talk on the Jubilee of Hope and what it means for you and your family, encouraging us to embrace this sacred time with renewed faith and trust in God's promises.
