Dear Families, 

THE 'THINK' TANK IS COMING...

Healthy life choices and skills such as resilience, problem solving and perseverance are part of our school’s mission. As part of the Berry St program, The Think Tank will be a place to learn and grow these in helpful, not harmful, ways.

The 'Think Tank' will be a safe place for ‘repair and rehearsal’. This means that it is not ‘punishment’ but a ‘natural consequence’ or thing that happens after a need is communicated by or established with a child. It is a safe place for learning and growing new and helpful ways to work and play, for all people at our school.

STAFF LEAVE - WEEK 1 AND 2

Mrs Kazacos will be on leave in Week 1 and 2 of next term. Ms Allysa Cuyson will be covering 1 Nagle during her absence. Ms Cuyson is familiar with Year 1 and our school as she has worked casually at St Patrick's for the last year. 

Ms Natalie Perin will be on leave in Week 1 of Term 2. Mrs Miller and Mrs Baker will be teaching 3 Patrick during this time.

TRAFFIC FLOW - TURNING CIRCLE 

To assist us with traffic flow in the turning circle and to make it a fast an painless process, it is preferred for all vehicles to turn left out of Belmont St in the afternoons. This is reflected in our current Sutherland Shire traffic management plan. Turning right from Belmont St, especially in busy times can cause extra congestion.

VEHICLES SHOULD ONLY ENTER FROM THE LEFT HAND TURN ALONG FLORA ST. No vehicles should turn right into Belmont St or cross from the library end of the street.

PLEASE HAVE SURNAMES CLEARLY LABELLED AND DISPLAYED IN CAR WINDOW PRIOR TO ENTERING TURNING CIRCLE.

WINTER UNIFORM

Winter uniform will begin on Monday 12th May (Week 3). All students are expected to be in full winter uniform from this date.

In the transition period, ss the weather begins to change, student may choose to wear either their winter or summer uniform in the first couple of weeks of next term, but not a combination of both.
