ACARA Data Collection

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to the 11 parents who has already filled in the form that was sent out through the Compass feed last week.  We really appreciate you getting on to this so quickly.  We do however have 96 parents associated with our students so we still have quite a way to go to have everyone updated. Please fill in the details this week to assist our records - via the link below.

Armidale Catholic Schools will be performing a data collection extraction of our Compass records towards the end of this term. We are aware that some of our parents who were not working when they enrolled their children are now employed in the workforce, have changed their email address or their employer or updated their educational qualifications.

To ensure all information is up todate, please fill in the form below. This applies to both parent one and parent two in the enrolment form.  For example if you have:

  •  become employed

  • changed employers

  • updated your email address

  • changed your occupation since enrolling your child - this may mean a change in the Occupation code - see attached sheet  below

  • gained any new education qualifications

We would really appreciate it if you could action this as soon as possible as we will need to update the information in Compass before the 6th of April to ensure our records are correct and ready for extraction. With thanks, KateThompson

This week

3 Way Parent Student Teacher Conferences

Over the next 2 weeks we encourage all parents/carers to attend the 3 Way Parent, Student & Teacher Conferences. The aim of these meetings is for your children to be able to showcase work they are proud of and it is also an opportunity for parental input into individual learning goals.

At his point we have 36 out of a possible 69 student bookings and we would really like to improve that number.

Please follow these instructions to book your interview time with your child's teacher:

  • Open in Browser
  • From the Compass homepage click the hamburger menu button at the top left (three horizontal bars) and then select 'Conferences'.
  • To start the booking process click on the 2023 Term 2, 3 way conference option.
  • Once you've selected the cycle you will first be shown a popup which contains information from the school. Read the message and click 'Okay' at the bottom to continue.
  • Select your student to proceed with booking.
  • Select your child's teacher from the Right Hand Side of the screen.
  • To book in just click an available (white) timeslot.
  • This will open a booking popup for you to confirm.
  • Confirm booking

Bookings are made more easily from a device other than a phone.  If you are having trouble making a booking, please call Kate in the front office and she will be able to help you.

Please ensure all uniform items are clearly named as we have a few new missing items at present.  Also please check the items that your child takes home as things are often misplaced at the bag hooks or bag racks and end up in going to a different home.

Attendance

Please remember to explain all absences on Compass within 7 days of the absence.  Once the 7 days passes, you will not be able to make any changes and this will be reflected in the end of semester school report.

Amazing News;  we have 13 students who have maintained 100% attendance and 70% of students who are over 90% . This is a wonderful achievement.

SCHOOL FEES

Thank you to those that have finalised the second instalment, the full year's fees or are making regular payments.

Armidale Catholic Schools office has advised that the school fee statements for this second instalment have been delayed due to technical issues.  You are able to view your current balance and transactions via the Compass app.  If you are experiencing any problems regarding this please phone the school and we can advise you of your balance.  Our apologies for the delay, apparently it is not going to be a quick fix.

Please note there is an instalment schedule at the bottom of your first emailed 2025 school fee statement detailing monthly payments on the current years fees.  Please direct any email enquiries to quifinance@arm.catholic.edu.au.
