If your child is sick at school
If your child is unwell or injured at school, they will be sent to the Health Centre to be assessed. The College Nurse will assess their fitness to stay at school and may decide that your child is too unwell to stay at school. In this case, you will be called to come and collect them. For this reason, it is important to keep your contact details up to date with the school, including an alternative contact –who the school can call if you are unavailable.
It is recommended that your child be collected within 30 minutes, but not longer than 1 hour.
