NAPLAN Completed – A Fantastic Effort from Our Students
We are pleased to announce that NAPLAN has been successfully completed for 2025. Participation was fantastic across years 7 and 9 who completed the testing. We commend our students for their effort during the assessments. The results will be available in late Term 2, and we look forward to sharing them with our college community. These results will provide valuable insights into student progress and help us continue to support learning outcomes for all.
5-Weekly Reports – Released by the End of Term 1
As we approach the end of Term 1, we would like to remind parents and carers that the second cycle of 5-weekly reports for this term will be released at the conclusion of this week. These reports provide a valuable snapshot of student learning, including progress in assessment, attendance, and engagement with our college values of Community, Achievement, Respect, and Engagement. Reports will be accessible via Compass, and we encourage families to review them together to reflect on achievements and set future learning goals.
Formative and Summative Assessment – Now Completed
Throughout Term 1, students have engaged in both formative and summative assessments to support their learning journey. Formative assessments, such as class discussions, quizzes, and peer feedback, have helped guide instruction and provide timely feedback. Summative assessments, or Learning Tasks, have now been completed across all subject areas for Term 1 to evaluate student learning. These assessments help teachers and students identify strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring every student is supported in their academic growth. Keep an eye on Compass to access results and feedback on Learning Tasks.
