Colour Blast Fun!

We held our Colour Blast event — and what an amazing day it was!

We were thrilled to welcome the Year 6 students joining us next year — they had an absolute blast!

After that, our registered ASC students took their turn and brought the energy and colour!

A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, the P&C, and the Colour Blast team for making this event such a success.

Year 7 Geography students were tasked with creating a diorama of a landform/landscape. This is the first time in many years that Year 7 have been challenged to create a diorama, and they have risen to the occasion.

The dioramas, created by recyclable materials, were completed to a high standard. Landscapes from around the world, including Snowdonia National Park in Wales, Manhattan Island in America, Uluru, Daintree Rainforest and Wave Rock from Australia are examples of the diverse range of landscapes/landforms chosen by the students.

The materials used included recyclable plastics and carboard, resin, cotton, expandable foam, sand, twigs, branches and papier mâché.

The students are to be congratulated for their effort. Geography staff are thrilled with the energy and effort of Year 7 in creating the dioramas. The projects are popular with the student cohort. The staff would like to thank the parents/carers for their effort in encouraging the students to engage in their learning.
