From the Principal

Welcome back to Term 4!!!

It is wonderful to be back at school after having the last three weeks of Term 3 away. As many of you are aware I headed to Europe, firstly to surprise my Nan and some other family members and then to head to Italy for a Pilgrimage with some other Principal's from the Outer East Zone of MACS. I will share some more reflections of the trip over the next few weeks. In the Pilgrimage to Italy tab you can see the whole group reflection as provided by Tess Dwyer who is Principal of St Bridgid's at Healesville. 

Assembly - Term 4:

The first assembly of Term 4 will be held on Monday 13th of October at 2:30pm in the Library.

Teeth on Wheels:

Dear Families,

Just a quick reminder that Teeth on Wheels will be visiting our school from November 5th 2025 to provide six-monthly dental check-ups and oral health education for our students.

IMPORTANT Already submitted a form for 2025? You’re all set — unless your contact information or your child’s medical history has changed.

What happens after you sign up?

Once your form is submitted, the Teeth on Wheels team will contact you directly to confirm your child’s appointment and let you know if you’re eligible for free care under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).

If your child is not eligible for free care, Teeth on Wheels offers a special $125 dental package, which includes:

 Full check-up

 Oral cancer screening

 Professional clean

 Fluoride treatment

 X-rays (if required)

This can be claimed back through most private health insurers.

PLEASE NOTE, THE CUT OFF DATE FOR COMPLETING YOUR CHILD’S FORM IS October 30th 2025.

Information about Operoo:

Just a note for parents that Operoo will cease operations in Australia at the end of this school year. MACS have asked schools not to engage with other providers as they search for a replacement service. I will provide information to families as it comes to hand. 

School Production - Kackawackadoo Bay:

A reminder that the school production, Kackawackadoo Bay, will be held on Thursday 30th October. Tickets are available on CDFPay following a notice that went out on school stream.  A limit of 4 tickets per family can be purchased in the initial round which closes on 22 October, after this the remaining tickets will be made available on a first in first served basis.

New Mass Times:

Our new parish priest, Fr Thomas, would like to share with our Parish community the new Mass times starting the first week of October.
