Year 8 Team Building Day – Beach Edition!
Last Friday, our Year 8 students hit the beach for a day of teamwork, creativity, and fun in the sun! From constructing team shelters to tackling the golf ball challenge and racing through a scavenger hunt, the day was packed with laughter, learning, and leadership.

Our Year 10 Outdoor Education legends took on the cliff walk, soared through the skies on the zipline, and conquered rock climbing at Penny Royal in Launceston! With perfect weather and unbeatable energy, the day was packed with teamwork, endurance, and outdoor skill-building.
This tight-knit crew has grown together all year—exploring nature, building memories, and embracing every challenge. A huge thanks to the amazing staff at Penny Royal for their warm hospitality! What a blessing to learn, laugh, and leap into adventure—all during a school day! 💪🏻☀️
🎁Operation Christmas Child Success!🎁
We are thrilled to share that Leighland Christian School students packed an incredible 112 boxes!!!🌟
A huge shout-out to our generous supporters and a special thanks to Jenni Littlejohn (mum to one of our Learning Support Aides, Rebecca Milburn, and Ruth) for donating extra goodies to make this possible. Jenni loves knitting and contributing to the shoe boxes. She’s done so for years through her church back in Victoria and is continuing to give from right here in Tassie where she now resides. Her kindness is helping to spread joy far and wide this Christmas season.

Year 8 PE Slipstream
Our Year 8 students recently took part in the Slipstream program, pushing their limits and embracing teamwork, resilience, and physical challenge. From high-energy activities to skill-building exercises, this experience was all about confidence, fitness, and fun!
A huge thanks to our amazing PE team for making it happen and to the students for giving it their all. We’re proud of your effort and enthusiasm!
