Festival of Choral Music - Additional photos
We are happy to share the following photos from the Festival's Bennelong Concert, as a complement to the snapshots of our Festival of Choral Music choristers in last week's newsletter. These photos help to capture the scope of the concert, with the combined choir and the additional performance items in the program. We are honoured, as always, to participate in these state arts festivals.

Music Learning Beyond School:
Amelia L in Stage 3 recently performed at the Ryde Eisteddfod in an individual event -- and won first place in her event, Novice Woodwind Solo Primary Age on the bassoon!
Amelia's reflection: As I stepped into the wooden floor of the event at 8:45 in the morning, my heart was pounding. However, I forgot my nervousness as I climbed up the stage stairs. I waited for the pianist to get ready and I announced my piece loud and clear. Little did I know that I would be the one to win the event, even though another girl played very well too. I had a wonderful time performing and observing all other performers. I love music!
