Reef Pod (Stage 2)

In Term 3, Reef is taking a deep dive into the importance of characterisation in narratives. Great characters can make a story memorable, and we have been learning about the different features that bring them to life. The features we have been working on include appearance, traits, goals, motivations, and flaws. Using Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox as inspiration, we are currently creating our own characters that we will use to write our own narratives.

During our weekly science lessons, Reef is exploring the concept of forces. Through setting up and participating in various investigations, we have been learning about the different roles forces play in our day-to-day lives. The Reef Pod has also been learning to classify different forces.
