Grade 3 & 4 Learning

On Tuesday 12th of August, our Year 3/4 classes embarked on a magical adventure to the Harry Potter Exhibition in Brunswick. From the moment we stepped inside, students were transported into the enchanting world of Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts.
The exhibition offered a range of exciting, hands-on activities. Students enjoyed thrilling wand battles, tested their skills at a lively game of Quidditch, and even tried their hand at potion making! Along the way, they explored fascinating displays and had the chance to ask questions about both the books and the movies.
The day was filled with wonder, laughter, and curiosity. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with a beloved story in new and interactive ways — a day none of us will forget!

Year 3/4C French
During Term 3, Year 3 and 4 students explored the Wonders of the World and famous monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Wall of China, the Colosseum, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and the Taj Mahal! Students learned key French vocabulary related to these monuments while also discovering the essential features of brochures. To conclude the unit, they designed their very own brochures about a chosen monument.
We have now begun our next unit: recipes in French! Students are learning how to structure and write simple recipes, using new vocabulary and practising sequencing words to build their confidence in French.
