Foundation FF & FL Kitchen Garden

Pizzas were on the menu!

Foundation students had a fun kitchen garden session last week with their teachers, Yves and Asha.  Students could create their own healthy toppings, including mushrooms, capsicum, zucchini and cheese with a delicious tomato base. Once cooked the pizzas were delivered to their classroom.

Students were excited to share their creations and enjoy with their class mates.

Fabulous Frittatas !

Last week students in 1/2M made some delicious zucchini, corn and carrot frittatas.

Students whisked the eggs, milk, salt/pepper and grated veggies together and enjoyed the delicious flavour.

Tomatoes and zucchinis continue to flourish in the garden. Our students have seen how seeds can turn into amazing organic vegetables. As they water and harvest each week they appreciate the garden and can see how quickly it can transform into an abundance of  food that they use in their cooking.
