BPS Athletics Carnival

Excitement and Achievement at Our Annual Track Carnival!

Our annual primary school athletics track carnival was held on Tuesday 28th May, transforming the Ce.x International Stadium into a vibrant arena of excitement, friendly competition, and remarkable athletic performances. This year’s carnival was a huge success, bringing together students, parents, and staff for a day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.

The weather was perfect, students enjoyed lots of novelty races along with the competitive events. Once we have completed the remainder of athletic field events we will publish the results.

Netball Trials

Bronte Nightingale, Jordie Baldwin and Aurora Alam were all selected in the Toormina District netball team to attend the Mid North Coast trials, which were held last week.

Jordie and Bronte both played very well, and both played in the Probables v Possibles match. The standard of play (and the height of some of the players) was very high and unfortunately they missed selection by a close margin. Aurora had a prior commitment to the choir and couldn't attend the trials, but we have high hopes for her next year when she is in Yr 6.

Congratulations girls, you do our school proud with your terrific drive and sportsmanship.

Touch Football

Boambee Boys and Girls Touch Football Teams played their first game of the PSSA Knockout Competition. Both teams defeated Bonville in energetic and competitive games. All students are to be congratulated for their high level of sportsmanship. Tries for the boys game went to Chase, Archer, Jordan, Sean, Wilbur, Marcus and Mase. Girls tries went to Summer, Amelia, Te'ella, Aysha and Layla. We now await the outcome of the Toormina vs Sawtell games to find out who our next opponent will be.
