Netball

At our assembly on Wednesday, we had Bev come and present winning medallions to our Year 6 mixed team who were victorious at the primary school netball tournament last Friday. Thank you Tara for coaching.

Last week, on Friday May 31st, we had a netball tournament with lots of schools. We were very lucky to have some teachers and staff to take us. Everybody had a lot of fun, and I think some people got a sugar rush they bought that many lollies from the canteen. I mean I only ate lollies - it probably wasn’t good for me though. 

Also, our school had five team, none of us got into the finals, but all of our teams played up to 7 games and this was at the EDNA netball courts. Some games were played in the stadium next door. 

It was a great day, and I am very excited to do it again next year.

Last Friday the grade 5s and 6s went to the EDNA netball competition. We had lots of fun, we enjoyed going to the canteen to buy hot food, drinks, and lollies. We liked meeting other schools, catching up with people we knew and versing people from different schools. I loved it. Thank you so much EDNA

I loved playing so many games of netball. I really liked my team so much, even though we didn’t win, it was so much fun. Thank you to my team and to Miss Galea for coaching us.

Prep Incursion

Our prep students had a special visit from Sarah and her Ambulance today. Students enjoyed learning all about how Paramedics help our community and what to do in an emergency.
