Foundation: 100 Days of School Celebration!
We’re excited to be celebrating a big milestone for our Foundation students — their 100th day of school at SKiPPS! This special day will take place on Tuesday 5th August, and the Foundation team has lots of fun activities planned with a “100” theme running throughout the day.
To help us celebrate, Foundation students are invited to dress up for the occasion. They might choose to come dressed as a 100-year-old person, or get creative by representing 100 in another fun way — for example, 100 pegs on their clothes or 100 ribbons in their hair. The more imaginative, the better!
We’re also asking Foundation students to bring in a zip lock bag containing 100 small items of their choice (e.g. buttons, beads, LEGO pieces). These will be used for class activities — so please make sure the bag is labelled and everything fits inside.
There’s already a buzz of excitement in the Foundation space and we can’t wait to mark this special day with plenty of learning, laughter and celebration!
SKiPPA Meeting This Friday Morning
Our fantastic St Kilda Park Parents’ Association (SKiPPA) will be meeting this Friday morning at 8:15am at Rye & Dough (just across the road from school).
This is a great chance to grab a coffee, meet other parents, and be part of planning some exciting events for the rest of the term — including the much-loved Father’s Day breakfast and celebration, and upcoming pasta and sushi lunch orders.
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a regular or new to SKiPPA, it’s a warm, social group of parents and carers doing great things for our school community. Come along and get involved!
Final call for Sushi Monday lunch orders
Sushi is back for Term 3! Families can place orders for a weekly sushi lunch delivered each Monday at Pranzo (1:05pm).
Sushi will be available for seven weeks, from Monday 4 August to Monday 15 September.

💛 Pay It Forward & Financial Support
We’re continuing our ‘Pay it Forward’ option this term. Families can choose to donate towards another child’s lunch who may otherwise miss out.
For those needing assistance, confidential financial support is available:
- Option 1: One roll per week – $3.00 total
- Option 2: Two rolls per week – $6.00 total

🎬 SKiPPS Trivia Night – this Saturday!
A reminder that our SKiPPS Trivia Night is taking place this Saturday, 2nd August at the St Kilda Bowls Club. The event is now sold out, and final preparations are well underway!
We’re looking forward to seeing everyone get into the spirit of our theme: Australian Film and TV. 🎥🍿
📧 All attendees will receive an email from the organisers with final event details. Get your costumes ready – it’s going to be a great night!
In terms of food for the evening, attendees can bring their own food to enjoy or we have made arrangements with Pizza Hut for parents to pre-order and have delicious pizza delivered to their tables at 8pm. Thanks to the generosity of Pizza Hut, the school will benefit from all orders placed.
