The Completion of Term 2
Term 2 has been a full and rewarding term. From the Athletics Carnival and creative arts performances to Reconciliation Week, the School Readiness Session and so much happening in classrooms every day, there has been a lot to be proud of. Thank you to our families for the support you continue to show the school, whether that is through volunteering your time, attending events or simply talking with your children about their learning. It makes a genuine difference and it does not go unnoticed. We hope everyone has a safe and restful break and we look forward to welcoming students back for Term 3.
A reminder that students return for Term 3 on Tuesday, 21July.
NSW Parliament Visit
This week I had the pleasure of joining our school captains and vice captains on a visit to State Parliament, where we spent the morning with our local MP, Tim James. It was a fantastic opportunity for our student leaders to see democracy in action and to engage with the political process in a very real way. As always, they represented the school with maturity and confidence, and I came away very proud of the young leaders we have at our school.
Education Week
Education Week is fast approaching, and our Open Day will be held on Wednesday 5 August. This year’s theme is Inspiring Excellence, something that reflects what our staff and students strive for every day. The format will follow the same structure as last year, with further details to follow shortly. Please save the date in your calendar.
School Tours
School Tours provide families with an opportunity to see the school in action and hear about the wide range of opportunities available to our students.
Please complete the expression of interest form to attend a school tour with our Principal, Mr Jones.
