100 Days Brighter!

Thursday was a very special day for our Kindergarten students as they celebrated their 100th day of learning at All Saints' School. This much-loved tradition gives both students and teachers the opportunity to pause, reflect and celebrate just how much has been achieved in the first 100 days of school. It is a wonderful milestone that recognises the hard work, incredible growth and many accomplishments of our youngest learners.

Of course, no Kindergarten celebration would be complete without plenty of laughter, a little friendly competition and more than a few sticky fingers!

Our celebrations were filled with fun, hands-on activities across a range of learning areas.

Mathematics

• Checking that the interesting collections our friends brought to school really did contain exactly 100 items (there were some very careful recounts!).
• Estimating how many licks it would take to finish a mini Chupa Chup and recording our licks in groups of ten. Surprisingly, a few didn't make it to 100. 
• Racing our way around our special 100 chart.
• Creating a delicious snack made from 10 groups of exactly 10 pieces of food. Maths has never tasted so good!
• Making edible necklaces with exactly 100 Froot Loops. Some necklaces mysteriously became shorter before the end of the activity...

English and History

• Interviewing our very special 100-year-old guest and asking thoughtful questions about life at 100. 
• Imagining what life might be like when we are 100 years old. There were plenty of plans involving walking sticks, rocking chairs and grandchildren!
• Listening to and reading more than 100 words.

Creative Arts

• Designing and decorating our fabulous 100 Days crowns.
• Working together to build a structure using 100 cups. It stood proudly... until it didn't!

PDHPE

• Completing a circuit featuring 100 exercises. By the end, there were lots of smiles and a few very tired legs!

We are incredibly proud of how far our Kindergarten students have come in their first 100 days at school. Their confidence, independence and love of learning have grown enormously, and it has been a joy to watch them flourish.

We would also like to acknowledge our students' first teachers—their parents and families. Thank you for the wonderful foundation you have given your children and for the encouragement and support you continue to provide each day. The progress we celebrated this week is a reflection of the strong partnership between home and school. We look forward to continuing this exciting journey of learning, growth and discovery together.

100 school days. Hundreds of new words. Hundreds of new skills. Countless smiles, friendships and memories. We can't wait to see what the next 100 days bring.
