Table Tennis Team

Congratulations to our College Table Tennis Team on an outstanding performance at the recent interschool competition! Our girls' team pushed hard and finish 2nd, while our boys' team also impressed, securing a well-earned 3rd place against strong competition.

While these results are something to celebrate, what stood out even more was the way our students represented our College. Throughout the day, they consistently demonstrated our school values, showing respect, teamwork and encouragement both on and off the table. It was particularly pleasing to see students reminding one another to embrace a growth mindset, encouraging teammates to stay positive, learn from each match and keep striving to improve, regardless of the result. The students should be incredibly proud of the way they competed with determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship. We congratulate every team member on a fantastic day of competition. Well done!

Basketball Team

This term we had 3 basketball teams represent Birranga College at interschool sports. All students represented the college with pride, respect and passion! It was amazing to see how our students not only played well but also supported each other when they were off the court. While we didn’t come away with the win, all 3 teams were resilient and tried their personal best in every game! 

District Athletics

What a fantastic day for our school Athletics Team! There was great effort, enthusiasm and sportsmanship from everyone involved, with students giving their best and supporting one another throughout the day. A special congratulations to Linc, who put in an outstanding performance to win the Boys Long Jump after filling in for an absent student. Another huge highlight was our Girls 4 × 100m Relay team, who produced an incredible comeback! After trailing following the first leg, the girls powered home to take the lead and win comfortably.
