Commonwealth Games Day

Last Monday all our Foundation, Grades 1, 2 and 3 students and staff enjoyed a fantastic day of tabloid sports to celebrate the Commonwealth Games! Students participated in multi-age teams representing 22 countries. It was great to see the effort many students and families put into the costumes, it made for a very colourful day. 

Throughout the event students used their teamwork, communication and enthusiasm to work their way through stations that included: Tug of war, Bucket and Sponge relays, Parachute games, Flying Chickens, Puzzle solving, Caterpillar races, Pizza Box relays and many more.

A big thank you goes out to all the staff who cheered and danced their way through the day. An even bigger THANK YOU goes to all our amazing grade 6 leaders who each ran an activity for our younger students. Our School and Sports Captains as well as a number of other grade 6 students who volunteered their time, demonstrating great leadership and maturity.
