Welcome back to Term 3

We are delighted to be back and look forward to another term filled with learning, growth, and exciting opportunities for our students.

At Kinross Wolaroi School Junior School, we value the many ways learning can be shared, celebrated and made visible. We believe that learning is an ongoing journey, and we strive to provide both formal and informal opportunities for families to engage with and celebrate their child's progress. Strong partnerships between home and school are central to student success, and we deeply appreciate the vital role parents play in supporting their child's education.

Thank you to all parents and carers who attended Parent Teacher Interviews on Monday. These conversations are an important part of the learning partnership between home and school. They provide valuable insights into each child's strengths, progress, and next steps for learning, while creating meaningful opportunities for families and teachers to work together in supporting student growth and wellbeing.

By engaging in these discussions, we strengthen the collaborative partnership that is so important in helping every child thrive academically, socially and emotionally. We are grateful for your continued support and commitment to your child's learning journey.

AMAZING ME workshop

Parents and students in Years 5 and Year 6 will once again have the opportunity to participate in our annual AMAZING ME workshop. AMAZING ME specialises in providing primary-aged children, parents and educators with positive, age-appropriate and empowering information that promotes self-respect, healthy relationships and an appreciation of diversity. The program reinforces the important message that every individual is unique, valued and truly amazing.

A key strength of the workshop is its ability to spark meaningful conversations between children and the important adults in their lives. These conversations help reinforce the program's messages and support students as they navigate their growing understanding of themselves and others.

To assist families in continuing these discussions at home, additional information and resources are available on the AMAZING ME website.

We look forward to partnering with families in this valuable learning experience.

Kinross Wolaroi Students making their Mark

At Kinross Wolaroi we value and strive for academic rigor. Students have a myriad of opportunities to engage in enriching learning experiences which in some instances the School provides or facilitates student access to them.  Please share with us your child’s interest, passions, and achievements by emailing junioroffice@kws.nsw.edu.au
