Save the Date for the Visual Arts HSC show
The annual exhibition evening of the Visual Arts HSC Bodies of Work will be on Friday, 31 July, 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the DPA. There will be delicious nibbles and live music provided by the Hospitality and Music students respectively. This is always a very good reason to brave the cold and see what a talented bunch of creatives we have, and it is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedication and commitment shown by the students, staff and parents! Without giving too much away, this year sees hand-built ceramics, stunning atmospheric photography, some very refined oil painting and so much more! We hope to see you there.
Second Hand Uniform Market – Junior School
The Uniform Market is a second-hand stall selling donated school uniforms to KWS families. It provides quality uniforms at affordable prices ($3 to $20), while reducing textile waste that would otherwise end up in landfill.
All funds that are raised contribute to environmentalism initiatives and charities, making every purchase a contribution to our community and environment.
This upcoming sale will be our third market and will be held in the Junior school in the room next to the carpark (KS).
While it is aimed at Parents and Junior School students, everyone is welcome to come. A wide range of school uniforms will be available. Come along and grab a bargain!
When: Thursday, 6 August 3:30 - 4:30pm
Where: KS classroom, near Junior School Carpark
What: Second Hand uniform market
Organised by: Senior School Environmentalism Team
If you have any donations, quality uninforms that you have been unable to sell or pass on, please leave them in the crates outside the Uniform Shop.
