Golf Lessons

Yesterday, a number of our Year 5 and 6 students participated in golf lessons with Sean Willes from Ballarat in their PE lessons. The weather was a big improvement from last week. Students learnt about chipping and putting.

Fun was had by all.

State Netball

Our very own Year 6 student, Asha McNaughton today is in Melbourne competing in the final selection of the State 12 and Under Netball Team (only 30 players left!). Asha has participated in many stages to make it this far. This is an incredible achievement when you think about all the girls in Victoria that play 12 and Under Netball. We wish Asha all the best, and we hope it all goes well for her today.

Greater Western Netball Championships

Well done to all the students who competed at the Greater Western Regional Netball last Friday. The girls were the overall winners on the day and will now compete in the State Finals on Wednesday 17th September at Waverley Netball Centre. A fantastic achievement.

The boys were runners up on the day, being defeated by one goal. A great achievement by both teams.

A big thank you to Sally Montano and Riley Reid for coaching the girls and to the six Colac umpires who travelled to Ballarat to assist. A big thank you also to the parents and grandparents who supported the event.

P.S. Just a reminder to players – please pay your $10 for the bus at the office.
