Year 6 Confirmation Celebration at St Patrick’s Cathedral

Over the weekend, our Year 6 students received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St Patrick’s Cathedral. 

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bishop René, Fr Desmond, and Fr Joseph for leading the Mass and guiding our students through this important step in their faith journey.

Thank you also to the Year 6 teachers for their dedication in preparing the students so thoughtfully and prayerfully.

We continue to keep these students in our prayers as they are strengthened by the Holy Spirit and grow as young people of faith.

Last Tuesday, the Year 6 students visited St. Patrick’s Cathedral as part of their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The visit was a special opportunity to deepen their understanding of their faith, and they were warmly welcomed by Bishop Rene, who spoke to them about the meaning of Confirmation and the importance of receiving the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  

Feast of the Sacred Heart

Yesterday, we celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart with a beautiful whole school Mass. It was a special time to reflect on Jesus' deep love and compassion for all people. The SRC students led the readings and prayers with confidence and reverence. We were reminded of the importance of showing kindness, love, and mercy in our own lives, just as Jesus showed us. 

Request for Old Baby Dolls – Baptism Unit o

Next term in Foundation and Year One, our Religious Education lessons will focus on the Sacrament of Baptism. To help bring this topic to life, we would love to use baby dolls during our role-play and discussion activities.

If you have any old or unused baby dolls at home that you’d be happy to donate or lend, we’d be very grateful. Please place them in the basket in the Foundation area.
