A message from Mrs Hodgetts

Over the past few weeks I have been reading many of the general comments about our students for the end of semester report.  As I was reading these, it made me think about the great variety of gifts and talents that our students possess. Whether it is a mathematician, an artist or a kind and caring friend, everyone has something special to offer. This is particularly relevant to our school theme for 2025, Be the Light! 

It is at this point, I remembered one of my favourite picture story books, All of the ways to be smart. I encourage parents to watch this video of the book, even better with your child. It is important to note that although the formal report has a heavy academic focus - there are many the be smart ....and we want to ensure our students acknowledge these too!
