Early Act News

Dear Park Ridge Families

The EarlyAct Club is proud to be teaming up with the Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield to collect 48-page, A5 yellow exercise books from Kmart to donate to students in schools in developing countries.

Our EarlyAct Club members were invited to a Rotary dinner last week, where they heard about how different life is for students in remote overseas communities, particularly when it comes to education. The Rotary Club has been providing supplies, but we learned that many students only receive one exercise book for the whole year and once it is full, they have to go back and rub out work they did earlier in the year to have fresh pages to write on.

So, we thought this is something we could help with. If you would like to donate one or more 48 page, A5 yellow exercise book/s from Kmart, we would be very grateful. These can be dropped off at the Park Ridge office or to Miss McClure's classroom (room 15) by Friday, 12 December.
